How do I freeze my account? (app)

Once you freeze your account, you won't be able to log in or register using the same email/phone/personal identity information. However, if you decide to unfreeze the account, you can contact our customer service for assistance.

Getting Started

  1. Open your OKX app and go to User Center

    Open user center menu on OKX non-CR app

    Select User Center at the top left corner

  2. Go to Profile and Settings and select Security center under Settings

  3. Find Account management at the Security Center page, select Freeze account

  4. Select Reason to freeze account

  5. Read what'll happen after freezing your account

    Read freeze note before complete the freeze account action

  6. Tick the relevant terms if you confirmed freezing it and select Freeze account

  7. Get SMS/email and Google Authentication code and Confirm to freeze the account

Note: it's required to bind with Google Authentication in your account before freezing it.
