OKX will upgrade its messaging function on Apr 23, 2024, at 18:00 UTC. This will take around 2 hours. Please take note of how it'll impact your P2P trading experience.
What's the impact on P2P trading?
You won't be able to place any new P2P order between 18:00 to 20:00 UTC. Existing orders placed before 18:00 UTC won't be affected.
However, all P2P services will be restricted if you don't update your app to the latest version after 20:00 UTC.If a P2P order is still ongoing after the update, the chat history will be deleted. This includes all text messages, photos, and videos. If you need the chat history, please raise a dispute or a help ticket for our customer support team to help you.
What do I need to do?
Update your app to the latest version after April 23, 2024, 20:00 UTC.
As all chat history before the update will be deleted, remember to take screenshots as proof.
Try to complete all ongoing P2P orders before the update. And avoid placing P2P orders slightly before the update starts, especially through non-instant payment methods.
What if I have ongoing orders during the upgrade?
In the event of a disputed order during the update period and you need to retrieve essential information (payment proof, chat history), please raise a dispute and get help from our customer support team (support@okx.com).
