How do I sell crypto?

Selling crypto to cash has never been easier with OKX. You can immediately sell your crypto assets into cash or convert them, all in one place.

Getting started

1. Open your OKX App

   • OKX pro mode: select Buy crypto from homepage > Sell

     

     OKX pro mode: Opening Buy crypto and toggle to Sell

   • OKX lite mode: Select Trade > Sell

     

     OKX lite mode: select trade > Sell from homepage

2. Select the crypto you would like to sell

3. Enter the amount and Select payment method

4. Select your preferred payment method from available options, such as P2P Express and other third-party channels

   

   Pick your preferred payment methods to complete the sell

5. Select Next to check your sell preview

6. Select Sell crypto to complete your sell order after you agree to OKX's terms of service and Privacy Notice

Where can I view my selling history?

1. Use the same method as above to access your Sell crypto page

2. Find Order history to view your sell orders

1. Why am I only able to select certain payment methods?

There are two reasons why: a. The amount you've entered is lower than the selling limits of certain payment methods b. To comply with local laws and regulations, the payment methods available to you on your account will be limited to those that are appropriate based on the identity verification documents you've provided during onboarding to OKX.

2. Why am I encountering a Sell unavailable message?

This means that our Sell services aren't currently available in your region. Stay informed for future updates, as more payment services are being actively integrated to enhance your experience.

3. Why do I need to verify my account before completing a Sell transaction?

Verifying your identity helps us to keep your account secure, and increase your buying limits.
