Last night, $bonk launched a new platform, quickly surging to 25M with trading volume exceeding 50M. If you're unfamiliar with the new platform, you surely won't be unfamiliar with $bonk. As one of the earliest memes on Solana, it represents the most insider group of people on Solana.
letsbonk is a typical parent-child dividend platform, with 1% of transaction fees used for buybacks and burning $bonk. The connection between $bonk and the sub-platform is quite weak.
If I were managing the project, the new generation of launchpads must have an "arbitrage" attribute, or rather, a new generation of launchpad DeFi. The team would allocate a certain proportion of $bonk to let the new platform drive trading volume - aim to enter BN alpha - continue driving trading volume - launch new BN assets - create a closed loop.
Speaking of which, there are several old NFT communities and memes (all native Solana OG leaders):
1. $wif
The "Hat Dog" project is very likely to collaborate with Ansem to create a new meme platform. Pay close attention to whether there are any next steps.
2. $samo
One of the earliest dog-themed meme coins on Solana, symbolized by the Samoyed dog. Its price surged from $0.0009 to $0.08 by the end of 2021, making it an OG meme similar to $bonk.
3. Solana Monkey Business (SMB)
The "punk" of Solana, gathering the most OG Solana community members. This group has already insider-managed multiple Solana projects. It's uncertain whether they'll be operating behind the scenes this time.
4. Degenerate Ape Academy (DAA)
An OG NFT project named alongside SMB, backed by an OG team and supporters. It's unclear if they'll stir things up. Back in the day, their NFT success relied purely on shilling, and their ability to spread influence is undoubtedly strong.
5. DeGods and y00ts' Frank is still somewhat active in the Solana ecosystem. Although his influence has significantly diminished, the OG circle has largely rejected him. His subsequent projects, such as Bags, have failed to gain traction.

About the founders
