Rocket Pool is a non-custodial Ethereum liquid staking protocol using Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. In Rocket Pool, you can stake any desired amount of ETH and receive staking rewards, instead of staking all 32 ETH or maintaining a validator node through dedicated hardware equipment.

ETH is the native token of the Ethereum ecosystem. It can be locked up in Rocket Pool to get rETH.

ETH rewards are distributed to validators for validating transactions on the Ethereum blockchain, as well as the rewards at the execution level.

rETH is a token that represents your staked ETH in Rocket Pool. You can hold rETH to earn staking rewards. Staking with Rocket Pool, rETH is minted upon deposit and burned when redeemed. When staking rewards are added, the value of rETH will increase with respect to the value of ETH.
