The Roses and the Bees drop is now closed! Check back on Monday (April 29) for the second drop of the “Unseen City Shirts” collection. Follow OKX and Man City for more information.
The Roses and the Bees was designed in collaboration with concept kit artist Christian Jeffery, and takes inspiration from two iconic symbols of Manchester itself: the Lancaster rose and the worker bee. The Lancaster rose, which sits in the heart of the Manchester City crest, symbolizes the importance of the club’s roots, with the roses intertwining around iconic stripes of jerseys past further emphasizing the club’s history. The bees can be seen flying around the roses representative of the graft of the people of Manchester.
