OKX Earn celebrates Ethereum Shanghai upgrade with exclusive airdrop
Dear OKX users,
To celebrate the upcoming Ethereum Shanghai upgrade, OKX will launch an OKX-exclusive ETH airdrop. Users participating in OKX ETH 2.0 Staking from Apr 7-May 6 will receive additional ETH.
OKX has 24-hour world-class security and maintenance, ensuring your assets' safety. Our ETH2.0 Staking Pool doesn't charge a commission fee and will support ETH2.0 redemptions once available.
1. How to participate
Go to the ETH2.0 Staking page, and stake a minimum of 0.01 ETH between Apr 7-May 6, 2023. You will receive BETH at a 1:1 ratio and earn daily on-chain rewards. Rewards will be distributed to your Funding account within 7 working days after the activity period ends.
2. Activity rules
OKX will take a snapshot of users' BETH holdings at 3:00 (UTC+8) on April 6, 2023, and the BETH holdings at that time will be used as the basic holding snapshot before the activity starts.
OKX will take daily snapshots of users' BETH holdings from April 7, 2023, to May 6, 2023 (UTC+8). Rewards will be calculated based on the increase in the user's average BETH holdings for 30 consecutive days. The average BETH holdings that exceed the basic holdings snapshot will be considered the increase in BETH holdings.
Users will receive ETH airdrops based on their increase in BETH holdings.
3. Airdrop details

4. Reward calculation rules
The amount you'll receive in airdrops will be distributed according to the following formula:
OKX exclusive airdrops = (the increase in BETH holdings during the activity period x Multiplier) / 12
Your total rewards will be calculated according to the following formula:
Your total rewards = OKX exclusive airdrops + On-chain ETH2.0 Staking rewards
5. Reward distribution rules
- If you meet the activity requirements, OKX exclusive airdrops will be distributed to your Funding account within 7 working days after the activity period ends.
- On-chain ETH2.0 Staking rewards will be distributed to your Funding account daily.
Additional information
- OKX will subsidize the airdrops.
- OKX provides node setup, operation, and maintenance services for ETH2.0 Staking, and bears all related costs without charging any fees. Additionally, ETH2.0 on-chain rewards are subject to fluctuations, and OKX will distribute rewards based on the actual on-chain rewards. After the Ethereum Shanghai upgrade is completed, OKX will open the redemption function for users as soon as possible.
