• Tell eligible wholesale friends in your network about OKX's advanced crypto products and services and share OKX's referral form (available here), along with your name, to allow them to sign up with us.

The OKX Refer a Friend Campaign (Campaign) is only for wholesale clients (as defined under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (Corporations Act)) and is available for the Campaign Period as defined in the Campaign's terms. OKX Australia Financial Pty Ltd (OKX) reserves the right to extend or withdraw this offer at any time at its sole discretion.

Any OKX customer (Referrer) who refers their friend (Referee) is not authorised to act as a representative of OKX or act on OKX's behalf. A Referrer must ensure that any referral they make complies with the terms of the Campaign (this includes taking steps to confirm that the Referee is a wholesale client (as defined under the Corporations Act, and ensuring that they do not provide any advice about the products and services offered by OKX or make any recommendations or opinions about the suitability of the products).

Subject to meeting the terms applicable to the Campaign (which are set out below), the Referrer and Referee will each be eligible for a bonus of 1,000 USDT credited to their account (notably, the Referee will be required to open an account, deposit a minimum of AUD $10,000 into their OKX trading account and complete trades totalling a minimum notional value equivalent to AUD $10,000,000 in spot and/or derivative products).

Introduction

1. These Refer a Friend Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the OKX Refer a Friend Campaign ("Campaign") and govern the relationship between, the provider of this Campaign, OKX Australia Financial Pty Ltd ("OKX", "we", "us"), and participants ("Referrer" and "Referee", as applicable) in the Campaign.
2. You can only participate in this Campaign if you agree to these Terms, so you should carefully read them before you participate. By participating in this Campaign, you are taken to agree to these Terms.
3. No one likes spam, not even friends – you must get permission from your friend before referring them to OKX.
4. This Campaign will commence on 10 December 2024 12:00 PM AEST and will continue until such a time as OKX, in its sole discretion, decides to end the Campaign ("Campaign Period").
5. This Campaign may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional campaign or offer unless expressly indicated.

Eligibility criteria

1. To be eligible to participate in the Campaign (whether as a Referrer or Referee):
2. 1. you must be a wholesale client (as defined under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) ("Corporations Act")).
   2. if you are a Referrer – at the time of the referral, you must be an existing OKX client;
   3. if you are a Referee – at the time of the referral, you must not be an existing OKX client (i.e. you have not passed our wholesale onboarding process); and
   4. you must not be ineligible to participate in the Campaign (you are ineligible if you satisfy any of the criteria set out in paragraph 7).
3. This Campaign is not available to:
4. 1. any person who is a retail client (as defined under the Corporations Act);
   2. any person who is an employee of OKX or any of its related entities, as well as their immediate family members; or
   3. any person who is an employee of any agencies associated with the Campaign, as well as their immediate family members.
5. If OKX determines (acting reasonably) that the Referee does not satisfy the criteria set out in paragraph 6, the Referrer and Referee will not be eligible for a bonus under this Campaign.

What you and your friend need to do to get the Bonus

1. To be eligible for the Bonus:
2. 1. What a Referrer is required to do: The Referrer must, at the time of referral:
   2. 1. satisfy the eligibility criteria set out in paragraph 6;
      2. take reasonable steps to confirm that the Referee satisfies the eligibility criteria set out in paragraph 6;
      3. make a referral by telling the Referee that OKX offers products and services and giving the Referee our contact details along with the details of the referral form (here); and
      4. when making a referral, tell your friend (the Referee) that you are making the referral as part of the Campaign and will receive a Bonus of 1,000 USDT if they satisfy the Terms of the Campaign.
   3. What a Referee is required to do: The Referee must, during the Campaign Period:
   4. 1. satisfy the eligibility criteria set out in paragraph 6 (which will require, amongst other things, the Referee to provide information and documentation so that OKX can satisfy itself that the Referee satisfies the eligibility criteria);
      2. be referred to OKX by a Referrer who is an existing wholesale client of OKX that satisfies the eligibility criteria set out in paragraph 6;
      3. complete and submit the referral form to OKX (available here), ensuring the Referrer’s name is included. In the form, the Referee must provide their consent to receive marketing communications from OKX, allowing OKX to contact them for general marketing purposes and to coordinate the next steps for this Campaign;
      4. receive an invitation from OKX and use the link provided in the invitation to create an OKX account;
      5. successfully complete KYC identity verification, submit the required documentation and successfully verify their status as a wholesale client; and
      6. meet the Deposit Requirement and Trading Requirement (both terms defined in paragraph 12 below).
3. The Referrer and Referee must not engage in the following activities:
4. 1. public marketing of the Campaign to retail clients or the general public;
   2. referring persons who do not meet the wholesale client definition under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth);
   3. make any misrepresentations, or engage in any misleading or deceptive conduct, or make any misleading or deceptive statements, about the Campaign, OKX or any of its related entities, or any of the products or services provided by OKX or any of its related entities;
   4. engage in any form of market manipulation or other abusive trading behaviour to exploit the Campaign; and
   5. engage in any activity that would violate applicable laws, including without limitation the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), the Corporations Act (Cth) and sanctions laws.
5. You may only participate in the Campaign for lawful purposes and you must act in good faith. You must not:
6. 1. attempt to refer yourself;
   2. refer the same person more than once;
   3. refer people that you don't know personally;
   4. refer a person that does not satisfy the eligibility criteria;
   5. refer a fictitious person;
   6. use the Campaign in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect; or
   7. otherwise attempt to circumvent these Terms or the Campaign.

When you will get a Bonus

1. Both the Referrer and the Referee will be eligible for a Bonus if the Referee completes both of the following tasks during the Campaign Period and within 60 days of the date on which the Referee is approved by us as a ‘wholesale client’ of OKX:
2. 1. Deposit Requirement: The Referee deposits a minimum of AUD 10,000 into their OKX trading account.
   2. Trading Requirement: The Referee completes trades totalling a minimum notional value equivalent to 10,000,000 AUD in OKX derivative products. Spot trades will be counted towards the notional value. OKX will determine (acting reasonably) the applicable exchange rate to calculate the AUD equivalent in accordance with its internal procedures.
3. The Bonus is 1,000 USDT for each of the Referrer and Referee, which will be credited to their respective OKX trading accounts.­­
4. The Bonus will be distributed within 10 business days after the Referee's successful completion of both tasks. However, there may be a delay in the distribution of Bonuses due to unforeseen technical or operational issues.

General terms

1. These Terms form part of the OKX Terms of Service - Australia. If we reasonably determine that you have not complied with your obligations under the OKX Terms of Service - Australia at any time, you will not be eligible to participate in the Campaign.
2. OKX reserves the right to amend, suspend, extend, or terminate the Campaign at any time. If withdrawn, we'll honour the offer in respect of any users who these Terms were applicable to before the offer is withdrawn.
3. You acknowledge that you do not represent OKX, and must not represent us or any of our related entities.
4. This Campaign should not form the basis of any decisions made in relation to potential trades or account activity. This Campaign is not intended as a recommendation to deal in any products, or as investment advice.
5. Any and all applicable taxes and all fees and additional expenses related to acceptance and use of the bonus are the sole responsibility of the individual bonus recipient.
6. During the Campaign Period, OKX will monitor the behaviour of traders to avoid any form of cheating or abnormal behaviour, including but not limited to: registering multiple accounts, using other people's accounts, using other people's information to register accounts, providing false KYC information, maliciously increasing trading data, engaging in laundering trades or wash trades, violating the terms and conditions of the Campaign, violating local regulatory rules for transaction and any other campaigns related to illegal, fraudulent or harmful purposes, etc. If any of the above acts are discovered by OKX, OKX reserves the right to disqualify the participant from the Bonus and Campaign.
7. If we reasonably determine that you have used this Campaign in a manner that is not satisfactory or otherwise not in line with the intent of the Campaign, we may ban you from participating in the Campaign and not provide the Bonus to you, at our sole discretion and without notice. This includes conduct on the part of the Referrer and/or the Referee which, in the reasonable opinion of OKX, undermines the fair and intended operation of the Campaign.
