OKX x Byron Blockchain Community Raffle - Terms and Conditions

  1. Promoter details: The promoter of this raffle is OKX Australia Pty Ltd ("OKX", "we", "us").

  2. Eligibility: The raffle is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who attend the OKX x Byron Blockchain Community event at Byron Bay, NSW on 25 October 2024. Employees, contractors, and affiliates of OKX are not eligible to participate in this campaign.

  3. How to enter: To enter, participants must download the OKX app and show it to event staff to receive a raffle entry. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. Each individual is allowed one entry only.

  4. Raffle details: The raffle will be conducted at the event on 25 October 2024 at approximately 7.30pm, with winners announced live. Winners will be drawn at random from the raffle entries. Participants must be present at the time of the draw to win. If a participant is not present when their entry is drawn, and an alternate winner will be drawn.

  5. Prize details: Two prizes are available: $200 worth of BTC for the first prize and $100 worth of BTC for the second prize.

  6. Claiming a prize: To claim a prize, winners must sign up for an OKX account and pass the KYC process. OKX reserves the right to refuse prizes if winners do not meet OKX's internal eligibility requirements (including passing KYC).

  7. Prize conditions: Prizes will be distributed as Bitcoin (BTC) into the winner's OKX trading account. The BTC amount will be calculated based on the OKX platform BTC/AUD rate at the time of distribution. Winners must sign up for an OKX account and complete KYC verification within 30 days of being announced the winner. Failure to complete the KYC process within the 30-day period, or inability to pass the KYC, will result in forfeiture of the prize. Due to the in-person nature of the raffle, there will be no redraw for unclaimed or forfeited prizes. OKX shall not be responsible for any technical issues related to the OKX app download or for participants failing to pass KYC.

  8. Notification of winners: Winners will be announced at the event. If a winner does not open an OKX account and complete the KYC verification process within 30 days of the announcement, the prize will be forfeited.

  9. Data privacy: Winners will be required to provide their email address, phone number and OKX Account UID, which will be used for the purpose of organising the distribution of their prize. For more details on how we handle personal information, please refer to our Privacy Notice.

General terms

  1. This raffle is not intended as a recommendation to deal in any products, or investment advice.

  2. Any and all applicable taxes and all fees and additional expenses related to acceptance and use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the individual reward recipient.

  3. Risk warning: Digital asset prices are subject to high market risk and price volatility. The value of your investment may fluctuate and you may lose the amount invested. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and OKX is not liable for any losses that may arise. Past performance also does not constitute a reliable predictor of future performance.   4. The value of digital assets, including but not limited to stablecoins, can and do fluctuate greatly from time to time. The value of any reward under this campaign at the time a participant qualifies for such reward may not be equal to the value of such reward at the time of distribution to the participant. Due to such fluctuations, users may experience a significant increase or decrease in the value of their assets at any given moment.

  5. The raffle and these terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

  6. OKX reserves the right of final interpretation of the Terms & Conditions of this campaign, provided that such interpretation is reasonable.

  7. OKX is not responsible for technical, graphic, typographical or editorial errors or omissions.
